Fogs, Dogs, and Smogs

Back in the 1980s, I regularly wrote articles for Mobil Oil's in-house magazine, The Compass. Looking through tear sheets of my past articles, I found this one about fog signals. The Compass has ceased publishing--too bad. It had some wonderful maritime and marine pieces. If you loved the sea and all things nautical, it was the perfect read. I hope you enjoy this article.
